  1. Stöckli Ski had to pay a CHF 140,000.- fine for illegal price fixing. According to the Swiss Competition Commission, between the end of 2003 and the end of 2018, there were illegal vertical price agreements between Stöckli and its ski dealers concerning Stöckli skis. The dealers undertook not to undercut Stöckli’s Swiss sales prices. However, such agreements violate antitrust law.

  2. Hey Cody , have a idea for you ! Lets do a epic 50 green runs for april 1 , get some kids a couple adults even ride some lifts up check the grooming reports , skip school and have some fun ! Seems like everything is to heavy right now lets have fun !
    Cheers

  3. The whole Rampage should be shutdown argument is wild to me. People in almost every sport put themselves in insane danger compared to the average person. Racers across sports get hurt if not killed way more often than people even get seriously injured at all the rampages. The intensity of the crashes, and the fact that people don’t understand the skill and time the athletes take the be safe, makes the average person think they are carelessly putting themselves in danger, when they are not.
What exactly could Rampage do to make it “safer”. There is an argument that if the jump was bigger he would have landed it. Could they put up some sort of net when they know an athlete is going to three onto a small landing with tons of exposure? Maybe!
The sponsors should be made to take care of the athletes beyond a paycheck, that they don’t even guarantee. They are sponsoring the act that gets the athlete injured in the first place.
    Nice Shane Gillis reference.
I just finished The Lies of Lock Lemora. If you are into fantasy sci-fi it is great.

  4. I think the youtube video posted after you recorded this month so hopefully next month include Mael Feron’s insane mountain bike achievement at Megavalanche. He started at midnight at the finish line, climbed though the night 9000’ including hike a bike with shoe crampons through the final infamous snowfield, made it just in time for the start that he’d already qualified for front line pole position, and not only raced but made it onto the podium. Epic mountain athlete stuff and dovetailed so surprisingly with Kilian Bron’s POV footage of his unexpected podium coming from 100th place after having a mechanical during qualifiers. Feel good mountain story of the year and charmingly documented by Mael and his very dedicated filmer.
